Here you'll learn how to view team photos, upload your own pictures, and save a photo to your phone's photo library.

What is the gallery?

The gallery is the team's shared photo album. Photos appear in a three-column grid, grouped by month. Each photo can be linked to a calendar event so all pictures from a moose hunt, for example, end up together.

Photos from the team's game cameras can also be saved here, so they remain after the camera has cleared them out.

View photos

1. Tap Gallery on the home screen
2. Browse the grid: more photos load as you scroll down
3. Tap a photo to open it full-screen
4. Swipe left or right to go to the next or previous photo

TIP

You can pinch with your fingers in full-screen mode to zoom in on details.

Save a photo to your phone

In the full-screen view there's a download icon labelled Save to photos. Tap it to add the picture to your phone's regular photo library. The first time, your phone will ask if Jaktli is allowed to save photos: say yes.

Send a photo to a chat

To show a photo to someone in the team, you can send it straight to a chat.

1. Open the photo in full screen
2. Tap the speech bubble in the top right (on a computer: the Send to chat button)
3. Choose the chat
4. Add a few words about the photo if you like, it is optional
5. Tap Send

The chat gets its own copy of the photo. It stays in the chat even if the photo is later removed from the gallery.

Upload photos

All members can upload:

1. Tap the upload button in the top-right corner
2. Pick Take photo to capture a new picture with the camera, or Choose from library to select one or more photos you already have
3. Add a caption per photo if you like
4. Optionally link the photos to a calendar event
5. Wait until the upload is finished

Example

After a group hunt, select all the photos from the day, link them to the event "Moose hunt 12 October", and upload them in one go.

Delete photos

You can delete photos you've uploaded yourself. Administrators can delete any photo.

Delete several photos at once

1. Tap Select in the top right of the gallery. You can also hold your finger on a photo for a moment.
2. Tap the photos you want to delete. A selected photo gets a tick and a green frame. Photos you may not delete are greyed out.
3. Tap Select all to pick every photo shown.
4. Tap Delete at the bottom and confirm.

Tap Cancel in the top left if you change your mind.

Deletion can't be undone

A deleted photo is gone from the gallery. Save it to your phone's photo library first if you want to keep a copy.
