External guest hunters, with a code
Invite a neighbour, a tracking-dog team or a visiting hunter to one hunt with a short code or a QR code. They see the hunt on the map while it runs, and nothing else. No membership, no seat, no cost.
One code per hunt
Open the hunt in the calendar and create a guest code. It is three letters and three digits, for example ABC234, with no characters that are easy to mix up, so it can be read out over the phone. The same code works for everyone you invite to that hunt. A QR code is shown next to it for when you are standing beside each other.
They see the hunt, and only the hunt
An external guest hunter sees the map with everyone's position, can log sightings and downed or wounded game, and joins the hunt chat. They cannot see the team calendar, the notice board, contacts, documents or anything else the team keeps. When the hunt ends, their access ends with it.
Not the same as a guest hunter
A guest hunter is a role in the team, for someone who hunts with you regularly but takes no part in running it. An external guest hunter is not in the team at all. If the same person comes back hunt after hunt, the role is simpler: no code needed each time. Both are free.

- A guest hunter is in the team, with limited permissions and without taking a paid seat. An external guest hunter is not in the team at all, and is invited to one hunt with a code. Choose the role for someone who hunts with you regularly, and the code for a one-off visit.
- Does an external guest hunter cost anything?
- No. They take no paid seat, so inviting five of them to a hunt costs nothing extra. They do need a Jaktli account of their own, which is free to create.
- What can an external guest hunter see afterwards?
- Nothing. Access covers the one hunt they were invited to and ends when that hunt ends. They never see the team calendar, notice board, contacts or documents.
