The dog on the same map as the team
The dog's position is drawn on the same map as stands, borders and hunters. Everyone on the team sees the dog in real time, not just the handler. Standing and treeing show right on the map. After the hunt the track stays in the hunt log.
Works with Garmin tracking collars
You need three things: a Garmin tracking collar, a Garmin handheld (for example an Alpha) and a Garmin watch running the Jaktli watch app. The collar sends to the handheld, the handheld to the watch and the watch to Jaktli on your phone. The collar keeps working exactly as usual with Garmin's own equipment.
Without Garmin: a 4G collar or a spare phone
Without Garmin you need neither a handheld nor a watch. A 4G collar like the TK-911 or TK-919 sends the dog's position over the mobile network with its own SIM card. Or you install the Jaktli OpenTrack app on a spare phone, pair it with a code and put it in a pouch on the dog's vest. The dog appears on the team map by itself when you join the hunt.
