OpenTrack

Get Jaktli OpenTrack

OpenTrack turns a spare phone into a live GPS tracker for your hunting dog. Strap it to the dog's vest and it shows up on your team's live hunt map.

This goes on the dog's phone, not this one

OpenTrack is installed on a second, spare phone that you strap to your dog, not the phone you use Jaktli on. Install it on that phone, then pair it with a code from your Jaktli app. The easiest way is to send yourself the link below and open it on the dog's phone.

Which phone is on the dog?

How it works

  1. 1

Install OpenTrack on a spare phone, the one you'll strap to your dog, not your own phone.

  2. 2

In the main Jaktli app, open My Dogs → Add tracker → Phone and create a pairing code (also shown as a QR).

  3. 3

In OpenTrack, scan the QR or type the code, then start tracking and put the phone in a pouch on the dog's vest. The dog appears on your hunt map automatically.

OpenTrack is a companion to the Jaktli hunting-team app. You need a Jaktli account to pair a phone, and the dog's position is shared only with the hunt teams you're part of.
