Common crane hunting season 2026/27
Common crane has no general hunting season, but protective hunting is allowed under annex 4 of the Hunting Ordinance on the conditions stated below.
Protective hunting under annex 4
Protective hunting under annex 4 of the Hunting Ordinance may be carried out on your own initiative when the conditions of the item are met. It has no dates: the conditions must be met every time.

1 August to 30 September
May be hunted in flocks of at least five birds at fields with unharvested crops where needed to prevent damage (item 20).
