Brown bear hunting season 2026/27
Brown bear has no general hunting season. Hunting happens only through the county boards' yearly licensed-hunting decisions, with a period and a quota per county.
Licensed bear hunting is decided each year by the county administrative boards, normally 21 Aug to 15 Oct. Protective hunting may also be granted by separate decision.
